About El Paso Stucco
Why We Do What We Do
Stucco is a craft that protects and defines El Paso's architectural identity. From Spanish Colonial Revival homes in Kern Place to Pueblo Revival properties in Upper Valley, quality stucco work is essential. We understand the responsibility that comes with maintaining and installing stucco in our community's unique desert environment.
El Paso's extreme temperature swings, intense UV radiation at 3,800 feet elevation, and alkaline caliche soil present distinct challenges. We're passionate about stucco because we know how it performs under these conditions—and what happens when it fails. Moisture intrusion, efflorescence, and UV degradation can lead to costly structural damage. Our work prevents those problems.
Always Learning, Always Improving
Stucco techniques evolve with building science. We stay current with moisture management practices, control joint bead installation methods, and EIFS best practices. New sealers, pigment technologies, and substrate innovations require continuous study and hands-on application.
We study how different stucco types—Santa Barbara smooth, skip-trowel, hand-troweled swirl—perform under El Paso's specific climate conditions. We understand mortar composition, scratch coat cure times, brown coat durability, and how to properly integrate EIFS systems with drainage planes and weep holes. This knowledge directly improves every project we undertake.
Our Values and Mission
We're built on straightforward principles: honest work, clear communication, and attention to detail. We show up on time, explain what we're doing, and deliver quality stucco work that lasts.
Our mission is to provide skilled stucco services that enhance El Paso properties while respecting architectural heritage. We honor historic district requirements, HOA guidelines, and building codes. Whether you need a patch repair on a Mission Revival home or a complete restucco with proper moisture remediation, we approach each project with the same commitment to craftsmanship.
Meet the Team
Our crew consists of experienced masons who've spent years perfecting their craft in El Paso's demanding climate. They understand how control joints prevent stress cracks, why cure times matter, and how to finish stucco that performs in 100°F heat and 40°F temperature swings.
Our team has deep roots in stucco and construction. We've worked on historic homes, new construction, military family residences, and commercial properties throughout El Paso County. This experience translates into reliable, informed work on every job.

Our Story
El Paso Stucco grew from recognizing a genuine need in our community. El Paso has incredible architectural diversity—Spanish Colonial Revival, Pueblo Revival, contemporary Southwestern styles—but finding qualified stucco contractors who understand local climate challenges was difficult.
We started by serving immediate neighborhoods, building relationships with homeowners and property managers who needed reliable stucco work. Word spread as satisfied customers referred friends and family. We've expanded service to Las Cruces, Socorro, Horizon City, and Canutillo while maintaining the same quality standards.
Today, we're still growing because El Paso properties need skilled stucco services. We're not chasing volume—we're focused on doing each project right, from patch repairs to complete restucco with moisture remediation.
The Standards We Follow
We adhere to industry best practices and IRC R703 requirements. This means proper scratch coat curing (48-72 hours minimum), brown coat cure time (7-14 days), and full system cure before moisture exposure (30 days). We don't rush applications, especially in cold weather when cure times extend significantly. Proper curing prevents delamination and bond failure.
Our approach includes selecting appropriate mortar based on your stucco type and building exposure. We integrate control joint beads to accommodate movement and prevent stress cracks in large wall areas. For EIFS systems, we install continuous drainage planes with weep holes every 16 inches, fiberglass mesh reinforcement at stress points, and compatible caulking.
Serving the El Paso Community
We're El Paso based and El Paso focused. We understand local neighborhoods—Kern Place's historic restrictions, Coronado's architectural committee requirements, Vista Hills' HOA guidelines. We know Eastwood, Sunset Heights, Mission Hills, and Mesa Hills. This local knowledge matters.
Being local means we're invested in our reputation. We're the company neighbors recommend to neighbors. Military families at Fort Bliss know they can count on us for quick turnarounds. Property managers throughout El Paso call us for reliable stucco solutions.
